Heath Peine, M.S., is the Director of Professional Learning, Learning Services at Corwin, where he leads Corwin’s team of consultants while continuing to work directly with schools and districts. He also serves as Corwin’s Lead Consultant for Visible Learning, supporting schools and districts in applying evidence-based practices that accelerate student learning.

With experience as a teacher, instructional coach, building and district administrator, Heath has led large-scale school improvement initiatives in rural, suburban, and urban districts. As a district-level instructional coach, he specialized in addressing K-12 needs in math, reading, and behavior, helping educators implement targeted interventions and strengthen core instruction. As an assistant superintendent, he spearheaded a district-wide shift to Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), driving collaboration and instructional improvement. As Executive Director of Elementary Special Education, he helped lead the district’s instructional coaching efforts and spearheaded the adoption of PLC+, ensuring teachers, coaches, and leaders had the support needed to improve student learning.

At Corwin, Heath works with schools and districts to ensure professional learning translates into measurable student growth. His ability to bridge research and practice makes him a trusted partner for educators seeking practical, sustainable solutions for school improvement.
