Rebecca G. Harper

Rebecca G. Harper, Ph.D. is Professor of Literacy at Augusta University. She has served as an invited speaker and keynote for a variety of literacy conferences and has delivered literacy professional development sessions across the country. Her research interests include sociocultural theory and critical literacy and content and disciplinary literacy. She resides in Aiken, South Carolina with her children, Amelia, Macy Belle, and Vin.

Cassie Tabrizi

As the owner and founder of Create-abilities.com, Cassie is passionate about bringing classroom ideas and resources to life for elementary educators everywhere. Cassie graduated from the University of Utah in 2008. From there, she went on to teach 3rd grade at a Title 1 elementary school. While teaching, she obtained her English as a second Language endorsement and her Master's degree in Curriculum and instructional Design. The endorsement and degree helped her work passionately to create materials that were differentiated, engaging, and meaningful.

Carol Pelletier Radford

Carol Pelletier Radford is the founder of Mentoring in Action, an organization dedicated to the success of novice teachers and their mentors. She received her doctorate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education where she focused her studies on mentoring and teacher leadership. Carol is an experienced classroom teacher, university education administrator, and certified yoga instructor. She is the author of bestselling Corwin books Mentoring in Action: Guiding, Sharing, and Reflecting With Novice Teachers; The First Years Matter: Becoming an Effective Teacher; Teaching With Light: Ten Lessons for Finding Wisdom, Balance, and Inspiration; and "When I Started Teaching, I Wish I Had Known..." Weekly Wisdom for Beginning Teachers.
